We regretfully state that on September 27, 2020, at around 06:00, the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire and fired with large-caliber artillery at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the frontline.

The enemy, which has become even more violent due to the silence of the world community, is shelling Ganja, Mingachevir, Barda and other settlements far from the frontline. 69 people, including minors, were killed, 305 were injured, 2,247 private houses and 90 apartment buildings and 402 civilian objects were destroyed as a result of missiles aimed at civilians, which are prohibited by international conventions.

Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, our glorious army responds to the provocations of the enemy. Our lands, which were occupied for almost 30 years, are being liberated by our victorious army, and our tricolor flag is waving over our cities and villages.

Our compatriots, indignant at the provocations of the enemy, are also proud and glad of the victories of our decent army. It is commendable that today every our compatriot, from children to adults, every peace-loving person demonstrates support on various platforms for the Azerbaijani state in their just struggle to restore territorial integrity.

Dear representatives of the diaspora, there is a possibility that the Armenian state-terrorist and aggressor, unable to come to terms with its bitter defeats, will commit terrorist acts and other violations against our compatriots not only in Azerbaijan, but also abroad. Many years of experience suggest that the terrorist organization ASALA, which from time to time carries out bloody actions in various countries of the world, can commit bloody provocations on behalf of the enemy at any time and in any place. In particular, we call on our compatriots, as well as representatives of the diaspora of friendly nations living in countries such as France and the United States, which are supporters of Armenia, where the Armenian diaspora is more densely populated, to be prepared for provocations and to be careful.

In connection with the above, we recommend you to be vigilant and contact the law enforcement agencies of the country in which you live, as well as the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Azerbaijani Houses abroad and the Coordination Councils of Azerbaijanis.
